As much as I would like for people to just like fawn over my mobile photos, that’s not right. Photography is personal, but it’s also very much part of a community. Therefore, I want to show off your work as well as my own. Hopefully, you’ll find some inspiration in the work of others, follow them on Instagram, and encourage each other.
Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.
The quote is from Thomas Merton from ‘No Man Is An Island.’ When shooting photos, whether it is with DSLR or a mobile device, it’s a good idea to “lose yourself” in that moment. Don’t worry so much about what you’re doing and focus on what you are seeing. Don’t allow a beautiful moment to driven entirely by the machine in your hand.
With that in mind, here is a showcase of some of the photos by people who liked images in the Mobile Pixel Instagram feed. Be sure to visit these accounts and follow them!
Akaka Falls, Big Island, Hawaii ʻAkaka Falls State Park is a state park on Hawaiʻi Island, in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The park is about 11 miles (18 km) north from Hilo, west of Honomū off the Hawaii Belt Road (route 19) at the end of Hawaii Route 220. It includes ʻAkaka Falls, a 442 feet (135 m) tall waterfall. Fun fact: ʻAkaka in the Hawaiian language means "A rent, split, chink, separation; to crack, split, scale". The accessible portion of the park lies high on the right shoulder of the deep gorge into which the waterfall plunges, and the falls can be viewed from several points along a loop trail through the park. Also visible from this trail is Kahūnā Falls. #travel #luxury #luxwt #asia #usa #global #hisandhers #justus #vacation #fun #tropical #vacay #rvworldtour #tour #luxe #paradise #living #finedining #europe
